1. A FAMILY has been left shaken after a homemade bomb-type device which had been placed on the rear windscreen of their vehicle detonated while they were driving through Isipingo this morning, 19 April.

2. ABOUT 360,000 people visited eThekwini during the Easter holiday period, adding upwards of R1.5-billion to the city’s coffers, while more than 20,000 people were rapped over the knuckles and fined in the same period.

3. FIVE baby snakes, born to a snake with a severed spine, were released into the wild after their mother was found on the Bluff.
