Bale Ave road repairs hopefully just the start

It is of great concern and sad however that one had to make use of the press to have matters resolved together with a firm hold of voices instead of implementing repairs at the soonest.

EDITOR – I would like to thank you and all concerned motorists and ratepayers and council with regards to the resurfacing of the bottom end of Bale Avenue which was carried out on Tuesday, 4 April.

It is of great concern and sad however that one had to make use of the press to have matters resolved together with a firm hold of voices instead of implementing repairs at the soonest.

It would be greatly appreciated if council would check all road surfaces in the area.

One would presume that the repair team must have traveled the same route down Bale Avenue to reach the repair site and drove over the new trench across the upper part of Bale Avenue, which also now requires urgent attention of resurfacing and hopefully notes were made.

It would be gladly appreciated by all concerned if, in future, emergency repairs incorporate a plan of action to restore road surfaces at the soonest so as to avoid relevant claims being made against council.
