Family celebrate late father’s birthday with party for vulnerable children

His family decided to pay tribute to his life by spending the day with the children.

IN honour of their father’s memory, the Johns family celebrated the late Stephen Johns’ (58) birthday by throwing a party for the children of Wentworth’s Angels on Sunday, 26 March.

Being a gentle and giving person when he was alive, his family decided to pay tribute to his life by spending the day with the children and the caregivers.

It was a fun day of treats, party packs and lunch.
Tracey Williams, founder of Wentworth Angel’s said the children were treated with lots of love and she thanked the family for their generosity. “It was beautiful for the family to celebrate his birthday, which was on Friday, 24 March by spending it with the children. Their smiles and happy cheers speak a lot about how this family has touched their lives,” said Williams.

Spending their father’s birthday for the first time without him may have been a hard thing to do but to honour his memory by making others happy, was the best present for the family and Wentworth Angels.
