Wentworth police pounce on heroin stashes

The accused in both cases appeared in Wentworth court the next day.

A 23-year-old Wentworth man was arrested for the possession of heroin on Monday, 20 February.

While performing an intelligence driven operation, Wentworth SAPS members visited the flats in Tuin Road. They searched the man who was in possession of 90 pink and white capsules, each containing a substance suspected to be heroin.

On the same day of the operation a 20-year-old man was also arrested for possession of heroin in Woodville Road in Wentworth where 103 pink and clear capsules were seized. The accused in both cases appeared in Wentworth court the next day.
