Quiz night raises R50,000 for CROW

THE inaugural quiz night extravaganza raised R50,000 for Yellowwood Park’s Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).

Held at the Kloof Country Club on Tuesday, 29 November, scores of people arrived to have their grey matter tested in a series of questions on biology, entertainment, science, sport and CROW’s work.

“This was a night filled with fun, laughter and great general knowledge questions that stumped even the smartest participants. We hope to make this an annual event,” said CROW marketing and communications officer, Sharl Els.

Third place went to ‘Horny Rhinos’ and ‘Clever Ring of Wisdom’ came in second, while ‘Another Team Stole My Name’ were the winners.

“CROW’s quiz night extravaganza wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of Kloof Country Club and all the prize sponsors for the evening. Thanks also goes to all the guests who attended the function and helped make the quiz a success,” said Els.
