NPO hosts party for children’s home

RETA's next project is a shadow night at Spur on 22 November

THE children of St Monica’s Home were treated to a party hosted by Bluff NPO Roy Edward’s Touching Angels (RETA) with the help of a Bluff bank’s staff on Saturday, 19 November.

“It so happens one of the children was celebrating their birthday on the day of the party,” said co-founder of RETA, Elaine Van der Merwe. Thanks to the sponsorship from A&B Wors, Checkers and the ABSA Bluff staff, the NPO had a massive braai complete with other foods and party packs.

“It was an awesome feeling to see how special and spoiled the children felt . We would love for the community to get involved with RETA. Right now, we are looking after 48 families and have a feeding project for school children,” said Elaine.

Their next project is a shadow night at Spur on 22 November where funds will be raised for RETA.
