Fifteen children injured as taxis crash

Police will investigate the accident further.

FIFTEEN school children were injured after two taxi they were travelling in collided on Charles Mowatt Road in Montclair at about 7am today, 24 October.

According to Rescue Care paramedics, the two vehicles transporting the children were involved in a side impact collision. The primary school children suffered various injuries and were treated and stabilised by a number of paramedics before being transported to nearby hospitals.

It is unclear what caused the taxis to collide but police will investigate the accident further.
