Cold, dull weather for this weekend

SA Weather Services warn of an intense cold front hitting KZN

DURBANITES will be bracing themselves for the chilly weekend that’s going to bring more thunderstorms and dull weather.

For the next two days, Durban will experience a steep drop in the temperature which will start at an icy 13 degrees and reach 18 degrees on Saturday and coldest on Sunday, with temperatures sitting at 12 degrees only to creep to by 14 degrees during the course of the day.
SA Weather Services warn of an intense cold front hitting KZN, strong winds and heavy rain leading to localised flooding over the southern and eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday carrying over to Sunday, 18 September.
According to the snow report, there will be mild snowfall on the Drakensberg mountains which will continue throughout the weekend.  These falls are expected to be accompanied by heavy rains.
