IT has been a quiet couple of weeks at Woodlands Bowling Club.

In the first week of July, the Dan Draper was played and Woodlands had a women’s team consisting of Gloria Rice, Rina Harper, Linda Hewer and Lindi Samuels and a men’s team consisting of Norman Moore, Bill Hewer, David Lloyd and Neville Horner. Woodlands is proud to announce that the women’s team came third overall but unfortunately the men didn’t do as well.

On Saturday, 16 July there was a game of men’s trips played between Harold Dix, David Lloyd and Neville Horner against Bill Hewer, Tom Cloete and Eric Coetzee with Harold Dix and his team the winners on a score of 18-14.
