Woodlands BC to round off week of bowls with fleamarket
There will be a flea market in the parking area on Sunday, 5 June.
THERE was not very much happening this week at Woodlands Bowling Club.
On Saturday, in perfect autumn weather, Rina Harper and Linda Hewer played point singles, with Rina winning 103–57.
There was also the final of the men’s drawn fours played between Harold Dix, Tommy Cloete, Eric Coetzee and Dennis Holloway against Norman Moore, Bill Hewer, Andy Cloete and Dave Lloyd. Norman and his team won 24-15. Well done to the winning team.
Wednesday will see the open pairs competition take place. To enter a team, contact Linda Hewer on 082-724-6575 and on Thursday it’s the casual fours breakfast. To enter a team contact Arthur Carlyle on 076-588-7377.
