AN 85-year-old elderly woman was taken to hospital after she was assaulted and tied up by armed robbers who ransacked her home in Yellowwood Park.
Montclair SAPS responded to the call earlier today, 17 February with the help of Park Patrol.
It is alleged that three armed men entered the house through an unlocked door and allegedly threw the the 85-year-old elderly woman across the floor, before assaulting and tying her up. The attack has left her with bruises and a swollen mouth. They made off with jewellery, a flat screen TV and cash.
Residents are warned to be on the look out for a dark coloured Mercedes Benz said to be used by the robbers.
