What lies ahead for hordes of plastic water containers?

Let us know what is going to happen to the many plastic containers that have been collected when the water is removed, if there is no water to refill them.

EDITOR – It is so gratifying to see how many people in the area have responded to the call to assist in the drought-stricken areas.

Thank you to all who responded.

I hate to be a party pooper but what is going to happen to the many plastic containers – and there must be thousands – when the water is removed. Will they hopefully be sent for a refill or collected by a responsible department at Ethekweni? I sincerely hope so, or will the plastic containers be dumped in some river (if there is a river left) and just left there to rot, accumulate and make even more rubbish?

Let us know what is going to happen to the many plastic containers that have been collected when the water is removed, if there is no water to refill them.
