Fellowship at January WFG meeting

Members support the school's feeding scheme run by the Methodist Church and other worthy causes on the Bluff.

THE Women’s Friendship Guild holds its January meeting at Assegai Hall, corner of Assembly and Brighton roads, Bluff on Thursday, 21 January at 9.30am.

The WFG aims are caring, sharing and learning.

They do as much charity work as possible, with members knitting and sewing for premature babies, children and sea men. They collect bread tags to buy wheelchairs and yoghurt tubs with lids for Salvation Army soup kitchens. Jumble goes to the Salvation Army and Hospice.

Members support the school’s feeding scheme run by the Methodist Church and other worthy causes on the Bluff. At meetings, they have speakers or activities of interest to members. An important part of meetings is the social aspect, where they meet with like-minded people and enjoy a cup of tea.

Visitors pay R5 entrance fee and all are welcome. If you have any questions, call Margaret 082-724-5741.
