Green-fingered volunteers sought

CROW needs volunteers with plant knowledge.

THE Centre for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) in Yellowwood Park is calling on volunteers willing to get their hands dirty for a good cause.

Like Isabel Dobie, one of CROW’s ‘green-fingered’ volunteers, the centre is calling on like-minded individuals to help them make the place more inviting.

“Dobie visits on a once-a-week basis to manage the planting and upkeep of CROW’s flowerbeds, helping to give the centre a fresh and welcoming look,” said marketing and communications officer, Paul Hoyte.

Any volunteers with knowledge of indigenous plant life who are willing to lend a hand should call 031-462-1127 or email info@crowkzn.co.za.
