THURSDAY, 21 MAY: Women’s Friendship Guild meeting is at 9.30am at the Assegai Hall, corner of Brighton and Assembly roads. The demonstration is on flower arranging from your garden by well-known demonstrator Pam Harvey. Anyone is welcome to enjoy a cup of tea, friendship and a good demonstration. Visitors pay R5. SATURDAY, 30 MAY: Dutch Reformed Church Fynnland hosts its first fete for 2015 from 7am until 1pm in the church hall at 303 Lighthouse Road, Bluff. Breakfast starts at 7am. The usual pancakes, puddings, vetkoek, home baked cakes/bread and much more will be on sale. There will be fleamarket tables with lovely crafts for sale.
