Rap-Alpha Rovers host open day in YWP

Join in on Saturday, 1 November at 1st YWP Scout Group hall, 15 Snipe Crescent, Yellowwood Park from 5pm onwards.

AN outdoor lifestyle adventure awaits in Yellowwood Park.

The Rab-Alpha Rover Crew are hosting their first Rover open day.

The group is on the lookout for young men and women between the ages 16 and 30 to join them on this outdoor lifestyle adventure.

The Rab-Alpha Rover Crew was established in 2014 at the Yellowwood Park Scout group.

Rovers follows the Scout programme and is open to men and women. Outdoor activities such as hiking; caving and canoeing are all important parts of many Rover crew calendars. Rovers will develop your ability to lead other young people to adventure, and you will appreciate the value of helping others. The word ‘service’ is synonymous with Rovering, whose motto is ‘To the community, group and self. Crews teach the value of teamwork and co-operation.
