CCTV footage sought in hit-and-run death
Police need help locating at least two people involved in a hit-and-run in Jacobs.
CCTV camera footage could be the key to solving a hit and run death in Jacobs on Saturday, 2 August.
According to Brighton Beach SAP, at about 8.30pm bystanders saw two white sedans speeding in Jacobs hit a pedestrian at the corner of Chamberlain and Manchester roads. None of the drivers stopped after the collision and the man died.
The police urge business owners in the area who have security cameras to review the footage for the accident or for two white cars speeding. Anyone with recordings or other information on this hit and run should contact Warrant Officer Baldeo on 031-451-8002 or 074-8078-479.
