Missing two-year-old found

The missing Bluff boy has been found, but his father is still at large.

AFTER being missing for three days, two-year-old Bluffite Jayden Hudson was found yesterday in Germiston.

Following a holiday with his father, Mark Hudson (31), the toddler was supposed to have been taken to a day care centre on Monday, 28 July. He never arrived and his father disappeared with him.

He had told Jayden’s mother, Clair Hudson that they would be in Ballito, but police investigations revealed they were in Johannesburg. Brighton Beach SAP’s Warrant Officer Marius Van Der Looy and communications officer, Captain Louise Le Roux formed a partnership to find the youngster and his son.

Security company, Wadeville Secure in Germiston, followed up on sightings of Mark Hudson and on Thursday, 31 July a tip-off led the company’s Richard Cox and members of Gauteng Flying Squad and hostage negotiation team to a mission centre in Crosby in Johannesburg. Jayden was found with a pastor, but his father is still at large.

Jayden will be returned to his mother, Claire Hudson this weekend.

Numerous criminal charges have been laid against Hudson as per the Children’s Act and additional charges are expected.

Brighton Beach SAP management thank everybody who took part in this initiative to find Jayden Hudson. They thank every individual who networked this story and to those in the field that persevered until he was found.
