Three people aged between 21 and 49 were arrested for dealing in dagga. They appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 16 July. One of the accused, 31-year-old Thandiwe Pamela Ngcemu confessed the dagga was hers and the other two were released by the court.

Ngcemu was granted R2,000 bail and the case was postponed to Friday, 15 August.

“This is a clear indication that the SAP members are working hard to bring drug dealers to book. Let us all stand together against drug abuse and we must not be intimidated by those who perform such acts,” said KZN provincial commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni.
