Bluff Christian Academy learners celebrate awards ceremony

Learners, parents and teachers at Bluff Christian Academy recently gathered to celebrate the academic achievements of the FET learners.

BLUFF Christian Academy recognised their top achievers at the school’s FET Top Achiever Awards ceremony at the school hall on October 7.

The ceremony was aimed to credit the learners who have worked hard and tirelessly.

RESULTS

Grade 10

  • Lunathi Majola – tourism
  • Zaydan Gani – mathematical literacy
  • Asavela Gonya – English, Afrikaans and life orientation
  • Lwazi Mahlangu – English, business studies and life sciences

Grade 11

  • Justin Cherry – tourism and mathematical literacy
  • Enrico Chanderdutt – life sciences and business studies
  • Esihle Mkhize – English, Afrikaans and life orientation
  • Tinashe Chakanyuka – Mathematics, physical sciences, life sciences and academic merit award for 80% aggregate

Grade 12

  • Sinakho Mahlangu – English and business studies.
  • Neveronique Litchfield – Afrikaans and tourism.
  • Thabiso Mkhize – mathematics, physical sciences, life sciences and life orientation.

Ntozinhle Nkomo, the school’s marketer, said, “We would wish to congratulate our FET Top Achievers who have put much effort into attaining good grades for grades 10, 11 and 12. As such, they are setting a good example for the younger generation. We wish them all the best and encourage every learner to excel in their studies, particularly because we are now in the fourth term.”

Dillon Pillay

He is a relatively new face in the journalism scene as he just recently graduated. He has a Bachelor in Journalism degree with a major in television.
