THE Durban and Coast SPCA are hoping to raise some much-needed funds through their newly launched 2024 calendar.

Tanya Fleischer, the marketing manager, said the funds raised will go into helping feed the animals in their care during the busy festive and kitten season, which spans from now until February.

They currently care for 80 dogs and 30 cats.

“Our food donations have been low this year, so the funds raised will go a long way to help us care for the stray and unwanted animals of Durban while they wait to find their new forever home,” she said

Fleischer said the A3 wall calendars include images that are the cream of the crop of the Paws for the Camera competition, featuring Durban’s best-loved pets. “You can’t start the new year without our bright, cute and colourful SPCA calendar. You can hang it in your home or office, and you are guaranteed to start every day with a smile, thanks to the delightful animals pictured on every page,” she said.

The calendars, which cost R150, are available at their Springfield Park charity shop and front reception, as well as their Sunningdale shop. Limited stock is available.
