Hip-hop crew to perform at Durban International Book Fair

Comprised of three members, L.I.V is full of life and bursting with artistic potential.

DURBAN, South Africa has become a thriving hub for music and entertainment in recent years. Among the many talented local artists, a hip-hop and RnB group stands out from the crowd.

One of these groups is L.I.V (Living in Validity) who will perform at The Durban International Book Fair, The Globe, Suncoast on Friday, August 11 at 20:00.

The group is making waves in the local music scene, attracting fans from all walks of life with their unique blend of soulful lyrics and smooth beats. Their sound is heavily influenced by their cultural upbringing, with a fusion of local Durban elements and international music influences. They are unapologetically authentic and deeply rooted in their sound, with a message that resonates with the people of Durban.

The Durban International Book Fair anticipates a stellar array of writers and artists from across the continent and the world. Writers, creatives, exhibitors, researchers, schools, NGOs, government agencies or ordinary South Africans are expected to converge at the five-day event from Wednesday, August 9 to Sunday, August 13.

This year’s theme “The book & beyond” will allow attendees to explore and understand the literary world like never before.

#DIBF2023 is hosted in partnership with eThekwini Municipality, the Department of Arts and Culture and others.
