Climate change: Make your voice heard

People from all over Durban and surrounds will gather outside Suncoast Beach and march along the promenade to Wedge Beach to hand over a memorandum to city officials.

South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA) is hosting a peaceful march to highlight the impacts of oil and gas exploration along our coastline. The march will be taking place on November 11 at 08:30, starting from Suncoast Beach on the promenade.

Their main objective is to highlight the effect climate change has on marine life, livelihoods and wellness as well as the current restrictions faced by fisherfolk.

Ocean lovers, fisherfolk, surfers, youth and so on are welcome to join the march. Take along your banners and flags to stand united against climate change.
