Volunteers make a difference at Crow

Volunteers are vital components of wildlife rehabilitation, and the organisation was grateful to have some volunteers from Grace Family Church help out.

A GROUP of volunteers from Grace Family Church got down and dirty as they cleaned out the tortoises’ camps at the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (Crow), in Yellowwood Park, recently.

From helping, to care for wildlife patients, to maintaining the centre’s facilities, volunteers champion the important cause of wildlife rehabilitation through their hard work, commitment and passion.
Crow’s operations director and herpetologist, Clint Halkett-Siddall said without the help of volunteers, the centre would not be able to function at its optimum.
“We thank members of Grace Family Church for their dedication to our centre. Volunteers are always welcome at Crow, regardless of whether they are available to volunteer with us regularly or as part of a once-off work experience,” he added.
