Soccer enthusiasts enjoy international friendly
Councillors who could not make it to the game donated their tickets to the young soccer players.
BUDDING Bluff footballers and soccer moms joined Ward 66 councillor Zoe Solomon to cheer on Banyana Banyana as they took on Brazil in an international friendly at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, on September 1.
Solomon thanked all councillors – who could not make it to the game and donated their tickets to her – so she could surprise the young, avid soccer players with a trip to a live international game.
“I was excited and felt great to be able to share the memorable moments with these youngsters and their moms, who support their dreams. Hats off to those councillors who could not attend but donated their seats. We had a blast,” Solomon added.
