A sweet surprise for children with Cancer

Cupcakes for children with cancer was held at the Wentworth bowling centre.

Cupcake of Hope Fundraiser was a great success it was held at the Wentworth Bowling Club on February 26.

The foundation sold cupcakes to raise funds for kids with cancer. The Green Café and Wentworth Bowling Club were thrilled to hold such an event as people came in number to purchase their delicious cupcakes.

Cheryl Waterman who is the president of the Wentworth Bowling Club said that she is always thrilled to host such meaningful events.

“Wentworth Bowling Club and Green Café are always willing to support worthy charity drives and look to the Bluff community to support these as well,” Waterman said.

This initiative has Casey Collett, 12, showing real passion for helping. She took her time and made the majority of cupcakes.

Waterman also urged the people that would like to contribute to the cupcakes of hope even after February, 26, that they can use the banking details provided.

“We’ve had a number of requests from people who would love to contribute to the Cupcakes of Hope Fundraiser but are unable to get to the green café before Saturday. You can donate by depositing into the Cupcakes of Hope bank account. Please use our Pop-up Cupcake Shop reference – FEB604. ” Said, Waterman, And she also thanked the community and everyone that was involved to help make this initiative a success.

”Thank you, everyone, from the Bluff community who has supported the initiative and would like to thank everyone that was involved in making this a success,” she added.
