Football fun to close the season

YELLOWWOOD Park Primary School ended the school year with an action-packed friendly soccer tournament against Lyndhurst Primary School.

Commenting on the U11s boys’ soccer game, YWPPS coach, Nosipho Majola said it was an interesting game which unfortunately didn’t play according to plan with a final score of 6-0 at the blow of the whistle.

“However, the boys played very well, given that training has been on and off due to restrictions in compliance with Covid-19. We need to improve our teamwork and distribution of the ball as quickly as possible. The boys had fun, although we lost it was a learning curve,” she said.
