Police seek deceased’s next of kin

Phumzile Hadebe's body was discovered at the Highbury Grounds in Wentworth.

THE body of a deceased woman has been unclaimed for over two months.

Phumzile Hadebe, believed to be 33, was found at the Highbury Grounds change rooms in Wentworth on Wednesday, September 29.

In a statement released on Tuesday, November 30, the police said the family of the deceased is unknown.

“Detective Warrant Officer Janelle Thompson appeals to anyone who may know the deceased’s next of kin to call or report to her,” said Wentworth police’s Captain Mbuso Gumede. He added that the body is currently at the Pinetown state mortuary.
