Wentworth SAPS seek deceased man’s family
The deceased man is believed to have gone by the nickname, 'Malume'.
A MAN’S body was found on Hime Street in Wentworth by police and the investigating officer is searching for the man’s relatives.
According to the Wentworth SAPS communications officer, Captain Mbuso Gumede, the African male was about 40 years old and slender in build. He had short hair and a moustache. He reported that there was a tattoo on his right shoulder that was marked with the number ‘28’ and, on his right arm, there was a heart tattoo with an arrow through it. He also had a stud earring in his right ear.
“The man went by the nickname of ‘Malume’. The deceased is currently being kept at the Pinetown Government Mortuary for identification,” said Gumede.
Detective w/o Thompson of Wentworth SAPS is investigating a case regarding the deceased and appealed to the community to assist in locating the man’s next of kin.
