AS provincial club cricket gets underway later this year, Harlequins Cricket Club are prepped to walk into the new season carrying an added sense of motivation.

The affectionately renowned “Quins”, were excited to announce a newly found partnership with the community-focused sports betting operator, Hollywoodbets.

The exciting collaboration sees the bets company furthering its commitment to developing sport at a grassroots level.

The Bluff-based outfit owns a promising group of young players, many of whom come from local schools and the Regional Provincial Training Centre.

As per the partnership, a handover of a sleek set of matchday whites along with training equipment was done. This will prove valuable in the Quins’ quest to win the league this season.

Harlequins Cricket Club’s managing coach, Rahul Batohi, expressed his delight towards the partnership.

“I have had a relationship with Hollywoodbets over the past few years through the game of cricket. They have always been generous in their support in fulfilling my passion to develop cricket within our province,” he said conveying his thanks and gratitude.

Brand and communications manager at Hollywoodbets, Devin Heffer said the day of the handover was an exciting day.

“The Bluff is a part of our local community network, with us having a branch in the area. Being able to give back to the communities in which we operate, is very important to us. On behalf of Hollywoodbets, we would like to wish you all the best for the season ahead, you have our full support,” he said.
