Show CROW some love this Valentine’s month

For the entire month of February, shoppers can pledge their love towards the local rehabilitation centre by donating any product of their choice and placing it in the trolley marked with Valentine's material at the store's entrance.

HOW big is your heart? This is the question Yellowwood Park SuperSpar is posing to shoppers who are encouraged to show some love to the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) this February.

While most people are buying chocolates and other treats to show their loved ones love, the local supermarket is encouraging a different kind of approach.

For the entire month of February, shoppers can pledge their love towards the local rehabilitation centre by donating any product of their choice and placing it in the trolley marked with Valentine’s material at the store’s entrance.

Placed in front of the trolley is a box of heart-shaped stickers to write a name on and stick on to the blank heart panel after donating.

CROW’s Operations Director, Clint Halkett-Siddall, said Yellowwood Park SuperSpar is a great supporter of CROW. “Our relationship spans many years as Crow has been based in Yellowwood Park since 1980. We are highly appreciative that Brett and his team chose us as their beneficiary for this year’s Valentine’s corporate social investment project.”

“With the animals in our care needing specific feed and items for their care, we have a wish list attached to the cart in order for Spar patrons to purchase items that we need at the rehabilitation centre.”

“Already the generosity of the public has been overwhelming and on behalf of CROW and all the animals who can not speak for themselves, I would like to thank everyone who has purchased items for us. The cart will be at the entrance for the full month of February for anyone who would like to contribute,” he said.
