Wentworth Business Clinic to host business fair awards

The event will be held at the Blue Roof Life Space Wellness Centre, where over 300 people are expected to attend.

ON Saturday 14 December 2019, the Wentworth Business Clinic (WBC) will host its sixth Business Seminar in conjunction with its first ever Business Fair Awards.

The event will be held at the Blue Roof Life Space Wellness Centre, where over 300 people are expected to attend. The WBC is a joint enterprise development initiative between Fullimput and its social partners: The Blue Roof and Community Support Group. This initiative was incepted in 2018 and has since held five seminars which collectively attracted more than 500 people to date. Fullimput’s, Commercial Director, Reginald Nyandeni, is the WBC Business Facilitator and Convenor.

“The main purpose of the WBC is entrepreneurship promotion through business information dissemination to aspiring entrepreneurs, also by providing mentorship and guidance on how to prepare, register and run a sustainable business,” said Nyandeni.

Several high-profile speakers are lined up for the seminar including Neville Mantjies (CEO of Tikzn), Theresa Anderson (Nedbank), Trevor Clark (ActionCoach Partner), Dr Anthony Small (Managing Director of Kairos Media) and several others. The end of the programme will be the business awards. There are three awards categories namely, WBC Business Start-up Award, WBC Business of the year, and WBC NGO of the year.

4) Durban South Women in Business Association

Some of the businesses nominated have attended WBC and have received sound business guidance and mentorship.
