The memorial is open to all those that would like to pay their last respect to this precious soul that was killed so tragically. Aunt Dolly, aged 78, was discovered in her home in Grafton Street, by her son. Her body was found in the laundromat of the house, concealed between black bags and clothing items. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but visible blunt force trauma to the victims’ head is suspected by Brighton Beach police, investigating the case.

Close friend, Kim Bowes shared that Deloras, whom she affectionately referred to as aunty Dolly, was a lovely person and that they spent a lot of time together.

“Anybody who knew aunty Dolly would know that wherever I was, she would be there with me and vice versa. We have been friends for nine years and had never had an argument. I alerted her son, Sean Bruce, on the Monday when I felt that something wasn’t quite right with the story I had been told by the guy renting the outbuilding when I asked about aunty Dolly’s whereabouts. Sean and I went to the house together and made the shocking discovery.
“She was more of a real friend to me than my younger friends are. Rest in peace my aunty Dolly, you are forever in my heart my friend,” she said.

Sean said that this has been a very difficult time for him and that the whole ordeal came as a shock. “My mother always gave of herself and helped others no matter what her circumstances were. She didn’t deserve to be taken from us this way and before her time. I will miss her dearly,” he said. Deloras is survived by her five children.
