Fynnland Senior Primary grade 7 entrepreneur’s day

The activity was part of the learners' economic management science (EMS) entrepreneurial exercise which will go towards their academic marks.

THE Grade 7 learners of Fynnland Senior Primary traded in their books and pens for goodies and delicious treats to sell to their eager customers during their entrepreneurs day, on Friday, 16 August.

Tyra McDonald and Micayla Jasson sold some sweet treats on the day.

The activity was part of the learners’ economic management science (EMS) entrepreneurial exercise which will go towards their academic marks. “They had to make products to sell to the rest of the school and teachers. It was all about putting what they learn in the classroom to use in real life, thereby gaining first hand experience on the way business works. A lot of the learners really made an effort towards the project and showed true business skills,” said Fynnland Senior Primary educator and head of department (HOD), Elizabeth Naidoo.
