SUNDAY, 21 JULY: Every Sunday, the Visually Impaired Bowlers Association has its weekly bowling afternoon at Berea Bowling Club in Durban from 1pm to 4pm. Blind and partially sighted people, who are prepared to join this association, can look forward to an afternoon of fun and fellowship playing bowls. SATURDAY, 27 JULY: Bluff Methodist Church on the corner of Wesley and Pearce Roads (behind Mediclinic) will hold a jumble sale from 7am to 9am. Good quality second hand clothes for sale at very reasonable prices. Come and have a look at the bargains.

SATURDAY, 27 JULY: Yellowwood Park Stables hosts a fundraising fun day at 17 Wren Way, Yellowwood Park from 9am to 1pm. Bring the whole family and come and enjoy pony rides and the jumping castle. There will be a small market with food and drinks on sale. To book a stall at R50, email ywpstables.online@gmail.com.

SATURDAY, 27 JULY: St Margaret’s Presbyterian Church hosts a creation seminar with Marc Ambler of Creation Ministries International. Registration with refreshments and snacks at 8.30am. The gospel is in genesis at 9am, dinosaurs and the bible at 10am and race or relative – a look at human evolution at 11am. Followed by wors rolls and salad. Books and dvd’s will be on sale and a collection towards CMI’s work will be taken.

MONDAY, 29 JULY: Yellowwood Park Women’s Institute will host its birthday party at the Yellowwood Park Bowling Club at 7pm. All members and past members are invited to join. The theme is Hawaiian.
