JUST IN: N2 northbound closed after shooting
The N2 north is currently closed while police investigate the shooting incident.
The N2 in Durban, between the M1 just after the Higginson Highway before the M7 interchange northbound, has been temporarily closed following a shooting incident on Tuesday.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a truck driver and his conductor had both sustained critical injuries. “Immediately after being informed about the incident, more ambulances and advanced life support units were mobile to assist. The Lenmed 1 Aeromedical helicopter was also activated to assist. Both patients have sustained critical injuries and are currently on their way to eThekwini Hospital,” explained Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care Paramedics
