Assistance sought by Brighton Beach police

It is believed the man can assist in the investigation of a rape case.

BRIGHTON Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit appeals to members of the community to assist with information regarding the whereabouts of the man in the identikit. He is believed to be in his late 30s, of medium build and was wearing a blue shirt. Police believe he can assist in the investigation of a rape case. It is alleged that on 2 May 2019 at around 8pm,  a 52-year-old woman was raped and robbed next to a church in Old Mission Road in Bluff. A case of rape and common robbery was opened for investigation.

Anyone with information of the man’s whereabouts is requested to contact Detective Constable Bouverie at the Brighton Beach FCS Unit on 031-451-8059 or 081-046-3162 or crime stop on 08600-10111.
