Explore nature with Durban Ramblers Hiking Club

Durban Ramblers Hiking Club will hike the Clifton Circuit in Shongweni on Saturday, 4 May.

Hike through cane fields and uphill with a few steep hills to Clifton Tower. Enjoy well-earned drinks afterwards at Shongweni club. Call hike leader Werner on 084-206-7836 about this grade three strenuous hike of about 9km.

Directions:

Take exit 33 from M13. Turn left into Kassier Road. Left onto Mr559 at the Shongweni Dam sign.

Meet and park at the Mushroom farm at 1.45pm.

On Sunday, 5 May hikers head to Beach Bums, Casuarina Beach, Westbrook.

Hike up and down the hills, across a nursery, through some bush and along a bit of beach. Variety and fun is guaranteed with this adventurous hike that will finish around lunch time. Optional to swim and enjoy drinks or lunch at Beach Bums afterwards. Meet at 7am at Virginia airport or Beach Bums, Casuarina Beach in time to start hike at 7.30am. The petrol sharing cost is R20.
