JUST IN: Man electrocuted and killed in Bluff

The man was working on the overhead wires in the area when he got electrocuted.

RESCUE Care paramedics are currently on scene where a man succumbed to his injuries after being electrocuted and then knocked by a car in Bluff Road, Bluff moments ago, (Wednesday, 10 April).

It is believed the man was working on the overhead wires in the area when he got electrocuted and fell down. He then stumbled onto the road and was hit by a car.

Advance life support paramedics were on scene and attempted resuscitation on the man but all efforts proved futile.

He was declared dead on the scene.

Emergency personnel are at the scene and police will be investigating further.
