50 new bus shelters for Bluff

Fifty new bus shelters are to be built across the Bluff to replace the old blue shelters. 

The shelters will be located along roads situated within the main whale watching tourism route, established by Sodurba Tourism Association in partnership with the ward 66 councillor’s office.

These include Bluff Road, Brighton Road, Island View Road, Lighthouse Road as well as Marine Drive.

“Through the upliftment and beautification of our area, we aim to increase the number of tourists visiting our community and the KZN Whale Coast, thus increasing economic investment into the Bluff and creating more sustainable jobs. During the year, similar upliftment projects will be built across the entire ward 66,” said ward 66 councillor, JP Prinsloo.
