TRAFFIC ALERT: #Durbanbuildingcollapse forces road closure as search for missing people continues

It is unclear whether three people being sought includes the two who have been confirmed dead.

Chamberlain Road in Wentworth has been closed off to motorists after the #Durbanbuildingcollapse earlier today, 28 March.

Garrith Jamieson from Rescue Care paramedics said that emergency services personnel are meeting with the city authorities including Durban Search and Rescue, Durban Fire and SAPS on site, as they work out a plan of action to recover the bodies of people who have been reported missing.

It is unclear whether three people being sought includes the two who have been confirmed dead.

Five injured people who were taken to hospital were all said to be in a serious condition.
