WENTWORTH police have confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been arrested today in connection with Saturday night’s (24 February) fatal shooting at a Wentworth fuel station.

At about 9.40am on Monday, 26 February, a team of detectives from Wentworth SAPS received a tip-off of the whereabouts of the shooter, according to Wentworth SAPS spokesman, Capt Mbuso Gumede.

Following the lead, police caught the man inside his Wentworth flat. They have detained him at the station for further questioning.
