BREAKING NEWS: Balcony collapses at Bluff seaside home a week after #DurbanStorm

The Chistlehurst Road home's verandah collapsed

Police search and rescue officials and paramedics have responded and are at the scene of a collapse of part of a Bluff seaside home this morning.

The Chistlehurst Road home’s verandah collapsed, according to Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson.

No injuries have been reported. Police have rescued two puppies from the debris.

UPDATE:

There was one occupant at home when the collapse happened. The puppies were on the balcony when it gave way and they were pulled from the rubble, which is littered with a fridge and other household goods.
