Woodhaven resident decries illegal dumping

The residents are working together to catch people like you.

EDITOR – On Monday, 10 April between 6.30am and 6.45am, a motorist stopped at the top of Pipit Avenue, Woodhaven, opened the boot of the car and dumped three black bags and two orange bags on the side of the road and drove off.

Unfortunately I could not get the car registration number. I would like to ask this selfish person one question – why don’t you leave your bags in front of your house? Are you coming to clean up? Because no-one else is.

In case you do not know, it’s called illegal dumping, and there is a fine for illegal dumping. Local residents are working together to catch people like you – we have had enough.
