Take aim at darts league
On Tuesday, 31 January DWDA held a pre-season drawn doubles and singles competition at the Yellowwood Park club.
FINAL registration at Durban West Darts Association for the 2017 season takes place at the Firwood Club on Tuesday, 7 February at 7pm.
The committee will be in attendance to meet and greet all new and current players wishing to play league this year. Teams consist of four players, which can be mde up of four men or four women or a combination of men and women. At present the association has teams playing from Hillary, Firwood, Queensburgh, IPA and Yellowwood Park.
Registration will be followed by a drawn doubles and singles competition at 7pm. Cost R30 per player.

Janie Irwin and Duane Scotty beat Wayne van der Riet and Gareth Morgan 3/1. In the singles event Naven Naidu beat Tanya Thomas 3/1.
There were seven 180’s thrown – three by Tanya Thomas, three by Duane Scotty and one by Wayne van der Riet. Jacque Strydom threw a 171.
