Silent auction to boost Hospice coffers

Help hospice help others.

HIGHWAY Hospice hosts a silent auction to raise funds to care for terminally ill patients.

Hospice, which caters to the greater Durban area, looks after fatally ill people, at no cost to them or their families. It relies exclusively on donations from the public and funds raised through its charity shops.

The silent auction, which ends on Saturday, 29 October, includes framed paintings, figurines, ceramics, books, plates and other hot ticket items.

Registration for the auction is R5 or a donated item and includes the catalogue. Viewing and bidding is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3.45pm and Saturday from 8.30 to noon.

Bidders should email auction@charityshops.co.za or call Dianne on 031-701-4726 on Wednesday, 2 November for the results.

For information go to www.hospice.co.za or email auction@charityshops.co.za
