Richard’s team clinches WBC trips

THERE was only one game last weekend in the men’s drawn trips final with Richard Hendicott, Shaun McAlister and Clive Symons (standing in for injured Dave Matthews), overcoming birthday boy Lofty Cawthorne, Errol Pienaar and Dave Faifer.

The monthly breakfast trips competition was held on Sunday with the following results: Sportsman’s prize went to Toti’s Adie, Neville and Len.

Session prizes went to Bill Addinall, Dave Lloyd and Andy Cloete on 2+15, and Chris Klopper, Eric Swanson and Russell Shepherd on 2 +13. In third overall was Norman Moore, Colin Nicholas and Tommy Cloete on a 4+2, second overall was Dixie, Rina Harper and Alan Bouwer 4+14, and first prize went to Julie and Shawn Sutherland and Barry Bush on 4+23. The 60/40 board winners were Arnie Harper and Rob Philogene.

Friday’s snowball of R700 was a carry-over. The various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Arnie Harper, beef – Chris Fourie, pork roast – Mitch Mitchley, rump – Dianne Swan, chicken pack – Tommy Simpkins, chicken – Rob Philogene.

The lotto was also a carry-over of R900 with the winning numbers of 6–10–11.

The weekly joker draw was another consolation winner with Eric Swanson claiming the R50. The potential prize is now around R3,500.
