A MAN was struck dead by a truck while cleaning massive puddles on the road Wednesday morning, 27 July on Umhlatuzana Road.
The truck driver who knocked him allegedly fled the scene. Rescue Care paramedics found the worker, who had been working in a closed off area, with multiple injuries. He died before paramedics’ arrival.
