Easy hikes planned for weekend

Meet at Union Main Centre, Old Main Road, Pinetown at 7.30am or the Assagay Hotel parking area in Kassier Road at 7.45am.

ON Saturday, 28 November, Durban Ramblers Club hikers will visit Impithi Nature Reserve and Kloof for a suburb walk.

Hikers are to meet at 1.45pm at the Gillitts Post Office (15 Old Main Road) for a walk around the suburb of Kloof and the Impithi Nature Reserve. This outing is graded one, easy.

On Sunday, 29 November, hikers head out to Baynesfield, Richmond. Call hike leader Jon Stevens on 082-459-1522.

Meet at Union Main Centre, Old Main Road, Pinetown at 7.30am or the Assagay Hotel parking area in Kassier Road at 7.45am. Alternatively meet at the entrance to Baynesfield (off Richmond Road, R56, past Thornville junction) at 8.30am to enjoy hiking on this beautiful estate.

A donation of R20 is payable and petrol sharing costs R40. Take your own drinks to enjoy after the hike.

This outing is graded three and covers a distance of about 15kms.
