MONTCLAIR police urge residents to be aware of an increase in theft out of motor vehicles in Equerry Gardens, Ronald Road in Montclair.
Thieves are breaking into cars parked in the complex especially during the night and police call for people to take precautions and be alert at all times.
“Due to an access controlled gate, police are unable to gain access to the complex, but plans are being made to reduce crime in the complex,” said communications officer, Warrant Officer Poobalan Marimuthu.
The public is asked to call the police hotline, 10111 or Montclair SAPS on 031-469-8200 with any information on the thefts.
